Terms of Use

Last updated October 12, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Helium LLC, the California company that runs wishlist (“wishlist”, “we”, or “us”), when you use our website, apps, and browser extension. By using wishlist, you agree to them.

Your account

You need an email address to sign in. Keep access to it safe, because anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You must be at least 13 to have an account. Kids under 13 may use wishlist only through a kid profile that a parent or guardian manages, and the grown-up is responsible for it.

What you post

You own your lists, wishes, and notes. You let us store them and show them to the people you share them with, so wishlist can work. Do not post anything that is illegal, hateful, or that you do not have the right to share.

Dibs and purchases

Calling dibs is a promise between you and your people, not a purchase. wishlist is not a store: we do not sell, ship, or return anything, and we do not check that a gift was bought. Order details you add are for your own records and, if you allow it, for the recipient.

Links, prices, and photos

Names, prices, and photos come from the stores you link to, and they can be wrong or out of date. Check the store before you buy. Some store links may be affiliate links, and sponsored products are labelled, as our Privacy Policy explains.

Fair use

Do not try to break, overload, or get around the security of wishlist, and do not use it to send spam or to collect other people’s data.

If things go wrong

We work hard to keep wishlist running, but we provide it as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost gifts, missed dates, or other indirect losses.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Governing law

California law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in California, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If you live in the EU or the UK, you keep the protections of your home country’s consumer law.

Changes

When these terms change, we update them here and change the date at the top. If a change is big, we also email you.
